Carolyn Tyler “Spiral” Stud Earrings

Vibrant deep orange Mexican fire opals (4.47 carat total weight) are the centerpiece of these stunning “Spiral” stud earrings. These rare and beautiful faceted gems are exclusively mined in the Querétaro province of Central Mexico, and are becoming scarce due to finite supply. Our 5/8″ studs are 100% hand-fabricated (no casting!) in 22k matte yellow gold, and feature fine granulation detail and a hidden hook on the back, which accommodates many of our earring charms (pictured with matching “Seaweed” opal drops). Generous custom “flower” shaped earring backs secure snugly to 18K posts. These two pieces are sold separately, but we recommend splurging for both, because this is our only set!
